missingWrote a review on 19 Jannice bar atmosphere
This place was a fitting option for exploring Chester at a reasonable price. The bar downstairs had a nice atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day out. If you're a light sleeper, ask for a room away from the road and bar noise.

Clean rooms with ample tea and coffee facilities. Close to the city center, making it convenient for evening outings, and there's a Co-op just a couple of minutes away for any last-minute needs.
Noisy atmosphere, especially near the bar area, which may disrupt a good night's sleep. The walk to the city takes about 20 minutes and can be tiring, with busy roads and no direct route. Some rooms overlook the car park, and if you're sensitive to noise, you might hear late-night patrons leaving the bar. Limited breakfast options and early cut-off for dinner reservations might not suit everyone.

the location of bawn lodge is just perfect, only a short walk to the city center. we loved the breakfast, so much variety n it was tasty too. the staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome all the time. our room was clean and comfy, just what we needed after a long drive. parking was a breeze and free!
the bed was a bit too soft for us, not really our thing. it got noisy at night since there's a bar downstairs.

Had an awesome time with friends here! We explored the zoo and visited the Roman ruins. Rooms were super clean, and the bar was really nice for hanging out. Breakfast was excellent and served quickly! Perfect spot for a group getaway.
The shower in our room leaked, which was a bit annoying. Otherwise, our stay was great.

great room but needs lobby upgrades
The friendly staff made my stay enjoyable. The room was beautifully decorated and met my husband's needs perfectly. Breakfast was well-prepared and delicious, making every morning pleasant.
The reception flooring looked worn, which didn't give a good first impression.

cozy stay with great staff
We enjoyed our 2 nights here! Super comfy room and the shower was hot, which is always a win. Had a lovely breakfast, but the second morning was rough with overcooked eggs. The bar area was chill, and Joanna was super sweet and helpful. Only a bit noisy late night, but didn't bother us much.
